Summary
The study analyses insights from 50 expert interviews in the UK, France and Germany and takes a deeper look on how tomorrow’s work will change the economy and society.
In the report, Florian Ranft and Barry Colfer put forward a range of ideas for how to harness the potential of new technologies, and of how to address the social and economic risks that are posed by the impact of digitalisation. They identified four major challenges that are central to the public policy discussion on tomorrow’s work emerge, namely:
- the need to ensure an inclusive digital transformation,
- training and skills,
- fostering growth and innovation potential in the economy,
- and the fact that “one size does not fit all”.
