Jan manages international projects and research at Das Progressive Zentrum, that are dedicated to fortifying European resilience in an era of geopolitical upheaval. His present focus lies at the critical intersection of innovation and tech policy, governance, and democracy. Previously, he served in the office of a Member of the European Parliament in Brussels, as well as in the European Coordination Group of the German Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. Jan holds degrees in Public Policy from LSE, the Hertie School, and Johns Hopkins University.
