Andreas Blätte studied political science, law and economics at the LMU in Munich and at the University of Aberystwyth, Wales. Between 2001 and 2009, he was a research assistant at the University of Erfurt and interim-director of the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy. From 2009 to 2015, he was a junior professor of the WestLB Foundation in North Rhine-Westfalia at the NRW School of Governance, University of Duisburg-Essen. Since March 2015, he is professor for Public Policy and Regional Politics.
