Clara Niestadtkötter was an intern in the Green New Deal department. She wrote her bachelor’s thesis on citizen:internal participation in the German energy transition at the University of Witten/ Herdecke. She is passionate about democracy building measures, social accessibility of political discourses and civil demands of socio-ecological transformation. In her place of study in the Ruhr region, she was involved in cultural and sustainability associations for the revitalization of structurally weak cities.
