Lamia Messari-Becker is a civil engineer and State Secretary in the Hessian Ministry of Economics. Previously, she has been Professor of Building Technology and Building Physics at the University of Siegen. From 2016 to 2020, she was also a member of the German government’s Expert Council on the Environment. Lamia Messari-Becker she is part of the expert group Zukunft Bau of the Federal Ministry for the Environment and Nature Conservation as well as a member of the international Club of Rome.
