Stefan Kolev is the scientific director of the Ludwig Erhard Forum for Economy and Society in Berlin. He is also a professor of economic policy at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau. He was vice chairman of the board of the Wilhelm Röpke Institute, is a member of the advisory board of the Aktionsgemeinschaft Soziale Marktwirtschaft, and is a Research Fellow of the Hamburg Institute of International Economics. In 2015, he co-founded the international and interdisciplinary network for economics of order and social philosophy NOUS. In 2011, he received his PhD in Economics from the University of Hamburg on the history and political economy of neoliberalism. During his studies and PhD, he was a fellow of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. He is a member of the Mont Pèlerin Society as well as co-editor of the ORDO Jahrbuch für die Ordnung von Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft and the Journal of Contextual Economics – Schmollers Jahrbuch.
