About Christoph Möllers

Prof. Dr. Christoph Möllers holds the Chair of Public Law and Philosophy of Law at the Humboldt University in Berlin. In 2004/2005 he was Professor of Public Law at the Law Faculty of the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster, and from 2005 to 2009 he held the Chair of Public Law, in particular Constitutional Law, Constitutional Theory and Comparative Law at the Georg-August University of Göttingen. From 2011 to 2014, he was a part-time judge at the Higher Administrative Court of Berlin-Brandenburg. Since April 2012, he has been a Permanent Fellow at the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin. Möllers holds visiting professorships at the Universities of Paris I and II, Princeton University, the Central European University, and the LSE. As a litigator before the Federal Constitutional Court, he has represented the Bundestag, Bundesrat and Federal Government. Möllers is the recipient of the DFG Leibniz Prize 2016 and the Schader Prize 2019.
