Olivia Rose Warkus

Olivia works as an intern in the Strategic Communications and Events team at the Progressive Zentrum. She is pursuing a combined bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication Studies with a focus on Political Science at Freie Universität Berlin. Her perspective is shaped, among other things, by her previous training as a nurse. Her academic interests include barriers to political participation as well as intersectional perspectives on authoritarian states and their actions. She is also actively involved on a voluntary basis in the students’ union of the Institute for Media and Communication Studies.
