About Merritt
Merritt joined the Communication team in April 2022. She is studying International Affairs at the Hertie School in Berlin. She graduated from Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg with a bachelor’s degree in European Studies. Her thesis analyzed the strategic interests behind the European Union’s security agenda in Central Asia. During several internships, she was able to gain work experience, including internships for the regional government of Saxony-Anhalt and at the German-Jordanian University in Amman, Jordan. In her free time, Merritt enjoys engaging as Co-Head of the Program ‘European Security and Defense Policy’ at the Grassroots ThinkTank ‘Polis180’.
