Martin was a Visiting Fellow of Das Progressive Zentrum from 2014 to 2015 in the project Legitimation and Self-Efficacy: Future Impulses for Party Democracy. Martin Rieke completed his law studies and legal clerkships in Hamburg, Modena, Kempten and Munich. Completed interdisciplinary studies in Tucson, Arizona (B.A.). Lives and works as an independent lawyer in Hamburg. Regularly lectures on the relationship between the right to free development of the personality and social self- and external control.
