About Julia Jeanty

Julia is the Senior Policy Manager at Data for Progress. She oversees Data for Progress’s policy portfolio — developing original policy analysis and representing DFP’s work in policy working groups and beyond. Prior to DFP, Julia was a coordinator for the National Wildlife Federation’s tropical forests and agriculture program, where she fostered support from the private sector and government for multi-stakeholder efforts aimed at developing, strengthening, and expanding zero-deforestation palm oil, soy, cocoa, and cattle supply chains. She also supported her team in improving U.S. and international policy on climate change and tropical forest conservation. Julia holds a dual degree in sustainability studies and environmental geosciences, as well as certificates in geospatial information analysis and meteorology and climatology from the University of Florida.
