Hubertus Heil

Hubertus Heil has been Federal Minister of Labor and Social Affairs since March 2018. He has been active in the SPD for over 30 years and has held various offices, including Secretary General of the SPD and Deputy Chairman of the SPD parliamentary group. Heil studied political science and sociology at the University of Potsdam and the Fernuniversität. He is a member of the Circle of Friends of Das Progressive Zentrum.
