About Gustav A. Horn

Gustav A. Horn studied at the University of Bonn and the London School of Economics. He received his doctorate and habilitation from the Technical University of Berlin. Since 2005, he has been Scientific Director at the newly founded Institut für Makroökonomie und Konjunkturforschung (IMK) in the Hans Böckler Foundation. In 2007 he became apl. professor at the University of Flensburg and in 2012 at the University of Duisburg -Essen. From 2010-2016 he was chairman of the Chamber for Social Order of the EKD, since 2016 he continues to serve there as a member. As a Research Fellow, he has been active in the DG ECFIN of the EU Commission since 2016.
