Fanny Oppermann

Fanny is working as an intern in the “Resiliente Demokratie” Department. She studied International Political Management in Bremen, spent a semester abroad in South Africa, and is currently writing her bachelor’s thesis on the state of democracy in that country. During her studies, she was active in various university committees, advocating for fair and equal participation for all. As a freelance journalist, she worked for the Berlin-based newspaper “Tagesspiegel”. An internship at the Permanent Mission of the Federal Republic of Germany to the UN in Geneva furthered her focus on international politics and the development of democracies.
