About Elmar Wiesendahl
Since 2010, Elmar Wiesendahl has been working as a co-partner of the Agency for Political Strategy (APOS) on issues related to the strategic capability of political parties and the improvement of strategy formation processes under conditions of growing competitive intensity. The sociologist and political scientist, who holds a doctorate, taught at the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich and the German Armed Forces Command and Staff College in Hamburg, where he deepened his interest in linking political strategy with more sophisticated military and corporate strategic ideas. In addition to standard works on party research, Elmar Wiesendahl has published numerous studies on the continued existence of member and popular parties and on the future prospects of party democracy.
