Dr. Ursula Bazant

Policy Fellow

Head of Department in the Austrian Minstry of Education. Prior to that, she worked as a political advisor to the Federal Minister of Education and Women’s Affairs, at the Federal Chancellery of Austria (division for Labour, Economic and OECD-Affairs), and at the University of Münster (Division for German Politics). Various research visits, teaching assignments and lectures, i.a. at the OECD and the Vienna University for Economics. Studied economics and political science in Vienna, Strasbourg and Münster with a special focus on labour market economics and welfare state research. She is Visiting Fellow at Das Progressives Zentrum focussing on right-wing populism, labour market, education, and family affairs.
