Charlotte Bechert

Charlotte Bechert was project assistant for European projects in the Future of Democracy section of Das Progressive Zentrum. Her main topics are critical and postcolonial Europeanization studies, European migration politics, political narratives and inequality. She studied European Ethnology, Political Science, and Sociology at Humboldt University in Berlin, as well as European Studies at King’s College London and European Affairs at Sciences Po Paris, and will begin her Master’s in Migration Studies at the University of Oxford next fall. Previously, Charlotte worked as a qualitative data analyst and research assistant at Citizens For Europe Berlin, as well as at Mediendienst Integration and the Institute for European Ethnology at Humboldt University.
