Emily is an intern in the Events department where she works at the intersection of research, politics and civil society. In June, she completed her interdisciplinary bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences at University College Maastricht, focussing particularly on climate governance and the implementation of a just transition. Among other things, she investigated how right-wing populist narratives in Germany strategically delegitimise climate action. A semester abroad in London, volunteering and travelling enriched her studies significantly.
