Emilia Zankina

About Emilia

Emilia Zankina is an Associate Professor in Political Science and Provost at the American University in Bulgaria. Her research focuses on populism and political parties in Western and Eastern Europe, political representation of women in Southeastern Europe, and politicisation and civil service reform in Eastern Europe. She is an established expert on Bulgarian politics and her writings have appeared in a number of academic journals, edited volumes, and media outlets.
