The NRW School of Governance (Duisburg) was established in 2006 and is an interdisciplinary professional school located within the institute for political studies of the University of Duisburg-Essen. Its establishment is based on the project of funding projects that have a proven track record for excellence in the state of North-Rhine Westphalia. Scientists with a background in social sciences and public administration as well as lawyers and economists are integrated in the wide range of research and teaching activities offered by the NRW School of Governance.
