The Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (Potsdam) is a non-profit association which fosters research and science on global sustainability. Its work concentrates on the further education of the next generation of qualified young researchers, the exchange of scientific information, as well as on the dialogue between research, politics, economy, civil society and culture. It conducts research with the goal of understanding, advancing, and guiding processes of societal change towards sustainable development.
