The Ferdinand Lassalle Centre for Social Thought was founded in 2005 in Wrocław as an independent association aiming at promoting ideas of social justice, peace, human rights and sustainable development. The association’s patron is Ferdinand Lassalle (1825-1864), the founder of the first labour party in Germany.
