New people, new ideas
We have revamped our website, expanded our offices in the heart of political Belin – and have grown our team at Das Progressives Zentrum.
We are thrilled to welcome Kerstin Andreae (Vice-Chair of the parliamentary group of the Green party), Dr. Christopher Gohl (researcher at the Global Ethics Institute at the University of Tübingen) and Olaf Böhnke (Managing Director at the Mercator Institute for China Studies, MERICS) to our Circle of Friends and that they have agree to support us in an advisory capacity.
Kathleen Thelen will join our Advisory Council. She is an eminent political scientist based at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, USA and will support our work, notably in our focus area “Living & Working”. Additionally, she will lend a transatlantic perspective to our activities.
Joining Das Progressive Zentrum’s group of Policy Fellows is Laura Kristine Krause, who has already worked on our project “Self-Efficacy and Legitimacy: A future Impulse for Party Democracy”. Laura’s future work at the think tank will focus on, amongst other things, the issue of digitalisation.
Additionally, we are happy to welcome two new Visiting Fellows: Ursula Bazant and Julia Richter. They will support our projects and enrich our work with new ideas and perspectives. Ursula will primarily address issues of family policy and of European right-wing populism, while Julia will focus on connecting progressive politics across the Federal and Länder levels.
We also have a new face in our operative team in our offices on Werftstraße: Alban Genty will work on all our European activities, and we are happy to draw on his passions for Europe, political education and Franco-German relations.
We look forward to an inspiring and fruitful cooperation with all our new team members!
