How can new digital spaces empower cultural actors across Europe? To answer these questions, Das Progressive Zentrum and the Goethe-Institut organised the \u201cEurope takes part!\u201d digital summit on 29 April 2021.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How can spaces for culture and creatives be protected and developed across Europe? What role can and should digital spaces play in the future of a European cultural policy? The ongoing debate surrounding these questions has been accelerated by the coronavirus pandemic. The project is now re-launched as an umbrella, multimedia platform, under which other projects with a human, European approach will publish their content. Humans in the EU uses diverse creative media to tell human stories fostering intercultural understanding, dialogue, and active citizenship. The stories are provided by a strategic community of creators and communicators as well as a wide range of media partners and collectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project is powered by&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alliance4europe.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alliance4Europe<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;and funded by the European Parliament.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js normal\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h3 id=\"at-38022\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.progressives-zentrum.org\/invitation-summit-on-european-cultural-politics-and-new-digital-solutions\/#citem_03de-85db\">European Spaces of Culture (Call for Ideas until 13 June 2021)<\/a><\/h3><div id=\"ac-38022\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.europeanspacesofculture.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>European Spaces of Culture<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;is testing innovative collaboration models in cultural relations between European and local partner organisations in countries outside the EU. At the heart of the project lies a new spirit of dialogue, in which equality, mutual listening and learning represent the core values that help build trust and understanding between peoples. The European Commission attributed the project to EUNIC.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js normal\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h3 id=\"at-38023\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.progressives-zentrum.org\/invitation-summit-on-european-cultural-politics-and-new-digital-solutions\/#citem_8c0a-5963\">Voices of Culture<\/a><\/h3><div id=\"ac-38023\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/voicesofculture.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Voices Of Culture<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;is the structured dialogue between the cultural sector in the European Union and the European Commission. It provides a platform for civil society representatives of the cultural sector to give input to the European Commission on a range of topics.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js normal\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h3 id=\"at-38024\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.progressives-zentrum.org\/invitation-summit-on-european-cultural-politics-and-new-digital-solutions\/#citem_d5f2-c02a\">European Alliance of Academies<\/a><\/h3><div id=\"ac-38024\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p>On \u201eEurope Day\u201c on 9 May,&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/allianceofacademies.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The European Alliance of Academies<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;takes the opportunity to stand up for artistic freedom. They ask: What are the legal and political possibilities to defend it? How can creative cooperation take place in the digital space? What role does Europe play for artists? In cooperation with ECCHR and with actors of our alliance from all over Europe, we will discuss political and artistic possibilities for action.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js normal\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h3 id=\"at-38025\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.progressives-zentrum.org\/invitation-summit-on-european-cultural-politics-and-new-digital-solutions\/#citem_5eb8-133f\">Creative Unite Platform<\/a><\/h3><div id=\"ac-38025\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/creativesunite.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Creatives Unite<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;is a platform gathering all pertinent information about Covid-19 related activities for and by the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSIs). It was created in May 2020 at the initiative of Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth and is operated by the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goethe.de\/de\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Goethe-Institut<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/creativehubs.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Creative Hubs Network<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;as part of&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/creativeflip.creativehubs.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Creative FLIP<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;project.
