With more than 2,700 fellow progressives from 70+ countries worldwide, 114 speakers and 25 partner organisations at the Progressive Governance Digital Summit 2020<\/strong><\/a>, we have taken an important step in offering a deep progressive analysis of the unfolding social and economic crisis, and pathways towards a \u201enew normality\u201c. Making use of this momentum will support the progressive community in promoting solidarity<\/strong> \u2013 within and between societies!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three weeks on, we are still digesting the rich contributions, analyses, innovative proposals and visions that have enlightened the 30+ sessions of PGS20. As a first step, we would like to invite you to revisit the full agenda<\/strong><\/a>, the scenario paper<\/strong><\/a> and ten selected sessions<\/strong>, including remarks by Madeleine Albright, Lodewijk Asscher, Annalena Baerbock, Nadia Calvi\u00f1o, Anneliese Dodds, Anke Hassel, Matthew Goodwin, Joschka Fischer, Heiko Maas, Mariana Mazzucato, Dani Rodrik, Olaf Scholz, Matthew Taylor, Adam Tooze, Catherine E. de Vries (see below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2021 is already throwing long shadows ahead: progressives might lead the governments in the US, Germany and the Netherlands once again and they must win political leadership at all levels to overcome the COVID-19 crisis. One thing is for certain: we will have plenty to discuss. If you are keen to continue the conversations, you will be happy to hear that PGS will continue next year<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
