On the occasion of the 2021 Bundestag election, Das Progressive Zentrum e.V. hosted the non-partisan \u201cGreat Election Night 2021\u201d in the state representation of Rhineland-Palatinate.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening\u2019s more than 500 guests and speakers (see program here<\/a>) included academics and journalists Hedwig Richter<\/strong>, Anke Hassel<\/strong>, Michael Werz<\/strong>, Jens S\u00fcdekum<\/strong> and Jeremy Cliffe<\/strong>, political consultants Frank Stauss<\/strong> and Johannes Hillje<\/strong>, Vice President of the European Parliament Katarina Barley<\/strong>, Federal Minister of Labor Hubertus Heil<\/strong> and FDP Treasurer Harald Christ<\/strong>. Regional states were represented by the Prime Minister of Lower Saxony Stephan Weil<\/strong>, the deputy Prime Minister of Rhineland-Palatinate Anne Spiegel<\/strong>, the Rhineland-Palatinate Minister of Labor Alexander Schweitzer<\/strong> as well as the federal representatives from Hamburg and Rhineland-Palatinate, Almut M\u00f6ller<\/strong> and Heike Raab<\/strong>. In addition, more than 50 accredited members of the national and international press attended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Berlin newspaper TAGESSPIEGEL<\/a> ($) praised the election night as \u201cone of the longest election parties in the capital\u201d with an organizer who \u201cadvocates new ways beyond the old thought patterns and templates, especially in politics.\u201d  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
