Das Progressive Zentrum supports Q BerlinInternational conference on social and economic justice, ethics in tech, and empowerment
How can we promote an equal society in current power structures? How can we set ethical standards in technology and science? As a partner of the event, Das Progressive Zentrum will join the debates on these and many more crucial questions at this year’s Q Berlin conference.
On November 16-17, Berlin’s platform for global discourse Q Berlin Questions will bring together leading international thinkers, unconventional minds and participants from all over the world to discuss some of the most pressing issues of our time.
As part of its efforts to promote the public debate on social and economic justice as well as ethics in tech, Das Progressive Zentrum has become a partner of Q Berlin and will be present at this year’s conference.
Speakers will include President of Mexico Vicente Fox (2000-2006), tech entrepreneur and producer Chad Sanders, founder of the Digital Rights Foundation Nighat Dad and many more. Participants will have the chance to exchange ideas with 300 like-minded peers, meet the speakers and discuss the most challenging questions we are facing today. The program consists of lectures, interactions, performances, and a cultural deep-dive into Berlin’s core and will take place at former techno club ewerk.
Debated questions will include:
• How can we strengthen an equal society in current power structures?
• How can we set ethical standards in technology and science?
• How can we empower people regardless of their social or cultural identity?
