News from the DPZ

Caution – wet paint!

Both literally and digitally!

In the past weeks, the think tank Das Progressive Zentrum has not just been thinking but also doing. And we have been doing an awful lot! We have been expanding and renovating our offices on Werftstraße, located in the heart of political Berlin and just a stone’s throw from the Federal Ministry of the Interior, from the Federal Chancellery, central station and Schloss Bellevue, official residence of the President of Germany.

Additionally we have also invested time and effort into the relaunch of our website. We have given the site a fresher look, made it more user friendly, and, more importantly, have made it more of a hub for progressive debate. In future we also want to report more extensively on the activities going on in our network.

With the new site, the substantive work taking place in our individual projects will be structured according to five focal areas: “Europe & the World”, “Living & Working”, Innovation & Sustainability”, “The Future of Democracy” and “The Progressive Majority”. Not everything is different, but hopefully much improved! And that is set to continue in the coming months with many new ideas, projects and initiatives. Inspired by our “doing” – as well as our thinking – of late, we are full of energy and look forward to new ideas and comments, as well as to your contributions and support.
