INNOCRACY Conference on Democratic InnovationCall for Ideas
For the INNOCRACY Conference on Democratic Innovation on 28 November 2017, we gave you the opportunity to present your project or idea in the field of democratic innovation as a session host.
Please note that this Call for Ideas is closed. Thank you to everyone who applied with their ideas and projects. We selected 11 projects out of over 50 applications to participate in the Conference on Democratic Innovation.
On 28 November, the Democracy Lab is hosting the first Conference on Democratic Innovation in Berlin. Our objective is to bring together an international community of innovators, experts, academics and politicians in order to share ideas, experience and expertise in the field of democratic innovation. Together, we would like to discuss how our democracies can adapt to changes in society and better respond to the socio-economic, cultural, technological and ecological transformations.
Would you like to share your insights or present your project to an international audience, decision-makers and the media? Are you open to eye-level dialogue? Do you want to get to know innovators from Germany and around the globe? Whether you are working on reforming parliamentary structures or ministries, the digitalisation of parties, or on projects to involve youth in decision-making processes: We would like to give you the opportunity to present your project or idea in the field of democratic innovation during the conference as a session host.
We offer three session formats:
A facilitated workshop format which aims at working together on a question in a collaborative environment.
A short, catchy stage presentation followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
A flexible dialogue format; You’re free to invite guests or have a discussion with the participants.
We encourage next generation thinkers and doers to apply and are looking forward to your ideas! Feel free to download this call for ideas, including extended information on the Democracy Lab.
