Dr. Nils Heisterhagen



He is strategic advisor to the SPD parliamentary group at the parliament of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Before that, he was a strategic advisor to the chairman of the trade union IG Metall. Studied politics and economics at the universities of Göttingen and Hannover. He wrote his dissertation in philosophy at the Humboldt university in Berlin. He had been working for the magazines WirtschaftsWoche and Cicero. Gained practical experience in the German parliament, at manufacturing companies and a foundation. His research interest focusses on political philosophy.
