Melanie Arntz is assistant professor at the University of Heidelberg, and currently serves as acting head of the research department Labour Markets, Human Resources and Social Policy at the Mannheim Centre for European Economic Research (Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung; ZEW), Germany. She is a member of the German Economic Association’s panel on regional theory and politics and is co-editor of the Journal for Labour Market Research. Her work focuses on individual and collective reactions to changing labour market conditions, including the digitalisation of work and the internationalisation of production processes.
